Chocolates of Glenshiel was founded by Finlay MacDonald in 2016 when he was just 16. You will see their chocolate stocked in many places while you are visiting Skye. After starting his business at home Finlay has now opened a chocolate centre in Shiel Bridge. Here you will find a cafe and gift shop as well as a peek at the chocolate making operation. We decided to stop here for a sweet treat as we were in the area.

The Croft Cafe is tucked away in the beautiful township of Duirinish, just 4 miles outside Kyle of Lochalsh. Perfectly situated if you are venturing to Plockton or further afield to Lochcarron or Applecross. After we spent the morning in Kyle it was the perfect spot to go and have a bite to eat for lunch.
